Don't Die From Licking the Envelopes!
Don’t die from licking the envelopes!
Utilizing mail houses saves time and money on postage.

Christmas is almost upon us and most of our clients’ holiday messages are already in the mail. The US Post Office has encouraged a private industry of mailing companies by offering postage discounts for doing part of the job of sorting. Postage discounts can be quite significant for our nonprofit customers and absolutely worth the savings for every customer. Often the reduction in postage can offset the cost of the service making the entire experience hands off for the client.
Here is the process:
You have a message you want to get out to the customers and you want to do it via a mailing. Is your mailing list over 250 pieces? If yes, then mailing services should be utilized. Here are some of the things mailing services cover:
Postage Savings! YAY!
Personalization of letters and matching to envelopes
Applying physical stamps
Inserting all the pieces into an envelope
This year OEX mailed out over 1250 Christmas cards to our customers. It would have taken us a lot of time to print the addresses on all those envelopes, stuff all the cards in them and apply the stamps. Postage alone would have been $687.50, but by using mailing services we saved over $169 and all that labor. Another nonprofit client had us mail nearly the same amount and they saved over $481 on postage!!
Why are you still licking envelopes?
