It's Calendar Season!

by Diana L. Martin

Yes, you read that correctly - if you haven’t already done so, it’s time to order your 2021 calendars!

But it’s only August, you say? You’re right, but this is what I always tell my customers: the calendar industry works like the clothing industry. Go into any apparel store in July and look for a swimsuit - you won’t find one in the regular racks. Anything they have will be on clearance and there won’t be much there to choose from. What you will find is winter coats and sweaters galore. Similarly, if you go into an apparel store in December looking for a winter coat, you’ll find swimsuits and cruisewear.

Calendars for the next year come out in June, so 2021 calendars are on our warehouse shelves now. By September, they’re getting limited, by December they’re almost sold out and by February or March most calendar manufacturers have completely stopped producing product for that year and have switched production to the next year. It’s tough to find the calendar you really want for the year in March - you’re relegated to what’s left.

So you can see that NOW IS THE TIME to get your 2021 calendars. Choose your favorites and order them while they’re still available. Ladies, I know you love the Blue Sky brand because they fly out the door every year. Don’t miss out! This also applies to appointment books and planners - anything in the dated goods category.

Well, what if I have a new employee who needs a current year calendar now, you ask? What do I do?

We have a handful of basic styles that we keep on hand all year long in the current year version. It’s a mixture of desk calendars, wall calendars and appointment books. In the list below, you would replace the XX with the current year, so to get a 2020 version of the item on line 1, the item number is AAG 701200520. We’ve linked the list below to the 2020 versions to make it easier for you.

We carry most major names like At-A-Glance, House of Doolittle, Blue Sky, Brownline, Blueline and Day Timer. Browse our selection here or call us at 877-795-2600!
