Just Kitting - Ideas and Making it Easy

Excuse the pun! Let’s talk about kitting, which is traditionally combining multiple related SKU’s into one new SKU. Large warehouses will do this to help organize related items, save space, help reduce shipping costs and take advantage of bulk manufacturing savings. Kitting does not have to be that rigid though; think of a gift basket, a goodie bag or welcome package.
Kitting is not a new idea but there are a few special considerations from 2020 that may make you take a second look at kitting in 2021:
You may have a significant number of employees working from home and you need or want to send them all some supplies.
You may have a stockpile of items that have gone unused in the past months and you need to find a productive way of getting rid of them.
You might want to promote a new service/product/event in 2021 to a list of customers.
You want to take advantage of bulk production pricing to fulfill your needs for the year.
Take a second to use your creative brain and think about what sort of kit might be relevant to your business – every situation is different!
