Problem Solvers: Keeping Your Files Neat
For many people, one of the most frustrating things about working in an office is the paperwork - piles and piles of paperwork. Some people like to have it out on their desk where they can see it so that they won't forget about it. Others like to file it away and have a nice, neat, clean work surface. They take papers out to use them and then file them back in the drawer when they're done.
In my opinion, there's no right way or wrong way to organize your desk - it's what works best for you. But if you're one of those people who likes to file everything away, you've undoubtedly experienced the situation where you searched for something in your file drawer and got frustrated because you couldn't find it, only to discover later that it fell between two folders and was lying at the bottom of your drawer. Well, that won't happen with today's Problem Solver.

OK, so maybe you're not as excited about it as I am. I'm sorry, but I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to office supplies. I love to play with all the toys. I tell you - this really is the perfect job for me (call me weird!). But I digress.......
This item is the Globe-Weis Hanging Accordion Folder. The folders are attached, so there are no gaps between them. That means no lost papers! Another advantage is that they use less space than the same amount of traditional folders. Now, since they're attached, that means you can't just take one folder out of the drawer, but, if you're like me, you just take papers out of the folder, so that's not a problem. They're made from sturdy 11 pt stock just like standard folders and there are 2 per box (with tabs and inserts). Only 2 per box, you say? Yes, but there are 10 folders per accordion, so that's like buying 20 individual folders.
I'm starting a new rating system for my product reviews. It's a 5 point system - or more precisely, a 5 paperclip system - with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. This item fills a definite need and does it in a smart way. I give it a 4 paperclip rating.
