Products to Help Make Tax Time Easier

It’s that time of year again - the dreaded tax season. Let’s be honest - nobody looks forward to tax season. You can, however, make yourself more organized and equipped to handle it by planning ahead and gathering the necessary supplies for the task.
Keep yourself organized throughout the year with filing supplies that enhance productivity - colored file folders, fastener folders, section folders, classification folders, file pockets and expanding files. Having specific folders for specific documents and using checklists provided by your accountant will help keep you organized and ensure that you have all the required documents when it comes time to file.
Add record keeping books, mechanical pencils, calculators and copy paper.
If you don’t already have one, consider getting a scanner to save your receipts and documents electronically and eliminate a lot of the physical paperwork.
The earlier you get started the better. That way, if you discover that you’re missing something you’ll have time to find it or fix it. Tax prep can be overwhelming - starting early also allows you to work on it in pieces, a little at a time. Having the right tools and a system to go with them can make all the difference in the world.
