Welcome back - I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends!
Today, I am asking "Who Did It First?" Specifically, Music Trivia.
Planning Your Holiday Party
It’s the most wonderful time of the year……………………………Time for the office Christmas Party!
If you are the lucky person elected to organize your office party, you have a few choices to make:
- Will the food be a potluck or catered?
- Or will the party be held at a local restaurant? If so, is everyone paying their own bill or is the company picking it up?
- What date will it be?
- Will there be alcohol?

Thought for the Day
I was recently working on a personal problem and was running up against a stone wall. Just as I was about to throw in the towel, I came across this quote by Ryan Blair:
Trivia Contest - Win A Prize!
How did you do with last week's question? Not your favorite subject, you say? You didn't like English class in school? OK - we'll do something a little more interesting this week.
In honor of the newest movie being released, today's topic is:

This is a Really Cool Chair - Zenergy by Safco!
I have been trying to break some of my bad habits - one of which is slouching. I have back problems and I find myself slouching at my desk to relieve the pain. I always try to have everything ergonomically correct at my desk - make sure that my legs are at a 90 degree angle, my arms are desk height, the monitor is in the correct position, etc. But still I would find myself slouching a lot.
We have had the Zenergy chair in our showroom for quite some time now (we call it the mushroom chair) and when I first saw it, I wasn't interested at all, but then a medical professional suggested that a ball chair would help my back. Since we are a working showroom, I replaced my desk chair with this one to try it out.

Yes, I know I'm a day late, but hopefully you'll forgive me. And hopefully you read yesterday's blog, so you know why I'm late. If you didn't, please do read it.
Without further ado, today's topic is:

Support Our Troops This Veteran's Day
Today your community may have a ceremony at city hall or a parade to honor our nation's veterans. A few people will attend, but not as many as will attend the Christmas parade next month. In a nation that was born out of conflict and earned its freedom through the valiant efforts of its armed forces, we tend to take that freedom for granted. Political views overshadow the tremendous sacrifices made by all our troops and the indisputable fact that We the People would not have the liberties we enjoy were it not for our armed services.

New Product: PAK-IT Cleaning System
This is the time of year when people start focusing on cleaning and janitorial items - it's cold and flu season - and keeping things clean and sanitary. So when a manufacturer's rep came to see me with a new product line called PAK-IT, I thought it would be a timely topic.
PAK-IT is a new system of cleaners that has a broad product line, encompassing bathroom cleaners, carpet cleaners, glass & hard surface cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, floor cleaners and more. It's competitors are products such as Windex, Lysol, Pine-Sol, Tilex, Kaboom, Vanish, Resolve, Febreze and Mr. Clean.

New Product Spotlight: Self-Laminating Labels
I am excited to share another new product with you today and I think it's going to take off like a rocket when people find out it exists.
Avery has come out with a line of self-laminating labels. They're called Easy Align Self-Laminating ID Labels (printable) or Durable Self-Laminating ID Labels (hand write). These labels are the solution for the times that you need a durable label or a weather-resistant label. We've all done the tape thing; you know - covering the label with tape to try to protect it. (Yes you have.) This product creates perfectly laminated labels with no laminating machine needed and they are super easy to use.
Thought for the Day
John Lennon said,
"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy.' They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

I was raised on country music - I think I've mentioned that before - and I've been humming a few songs over and over and over today. Just can't get them out of my head. So I decided to make that our topic today:

Custom Printing: RGB vs. CMYK
When last we met to discuss custom printing, we were exploring process color vs. spot color. Today we will venture further into the world of color space. Color space is one of the most often misunderstood terms. Also called a color model, it refers to the range of colors, or gamut, that a device can reproduce.
New Product Spotlight: Atlantis Exact & Atlantis Comfort
I like ballpoint pens - specifically retractable fine point blue ink ballpoint pens. Don't even try to give me black ink or medium point. Just don't. I also don't like gel ink or rollerball ink. Sure, the gel ink pens are fun because you can get them in fun ink colors like pink or purple or orange or green (I can do that with ballpoints too) but I don't like the way the ink writes, the way it feathers on the paper or the way it smears. Yes, I know there are all kinds of "new, revolutionary" gel ink pens out there, but I run into the same issues with all of them. The same goes for rollerballs.
